Abuse Intervention Program (AIP)

Our ICADV-approved curriculum is based on the Duluth Model and enhanced with cognitive-behavioral learning.

Curriculum Highlights

Participants explore:

• Understanding abuse & domestic violence
• Power and control dynamics
• Socialization & gender expectations
• Personal responsibility for behaviors
• The role of mental health & substance use
• Belief systems that support abusive behavior
• Non-violent decision making
• Relapse-prevention plans

A Heart for Change provides ICADV-certified Abuse Intervention Programs (AIP) designed to help individuals understand abusive behaviors, build accountability, and practice safe, healthy alternatives.
We offer state-approved 26-week in person classes.
